Today we are highlighting senior Madi Hathaway! Madi plays on 18 Elite and will be graduating from Edmond Memorial High School. Next year, she is committed to play volleyball at Queens College in Queens, New York. Go Knights!
Madi’s Senior Season Awards include:6A State Tournament All-Tournament, Large West All-State Selection, COAC All-Conference 1st Team, All-City 2nd Team, 6A State Runner Up, and Heather Harkness Tournament MVP.
Madi’s other awards include: (Junior) 6A State Champs, COAC All-Conference 1st Team, All-City Honorable Mention, All-Tournament Team. (Sophomore) COAC All-Conference Honorable Mention (Freshman) USAV Nationals Runner Up and USAV National Tournament All-Tournament Team.
Madi’s parents say “we have enjoyed spending the last 10 years watching Madison play volleyball, starting with the YMCA and her entire club career with Peak. Her and her closest friends traveling all over the country together doing what they love has provided her with once in a lifetime experiences that shape who she will forever be. We know that the confidence her Peak coaches have given her since she was 10 years old is what gives her the bravery to go so far away for college.”
Madison is a member of National Honor Society and plans to study Criminal Psychology while at Queens College. After graduation, she wants to continue to stay and work in the NYC area, eventually traveling to other countries for work study programs or work.
