We are about halfway through our senior highlight series, and today we are featuring 18EP player Sawyer Franz. Sawyer is a homeschool senior and played school ball for OKC Storm. Next year, she is committed to play volleyball at Mid-America Christian University. Go Evangels!
Sawyer’s Senior Season Awards include: Moore All-Tournament Team, Lincoln Christian All-Tournament Team, MVP Lincoln Christian tournament, 6A Gold Ball Winner National Homeschool Tournament, and National Homeschool Volleyball Champion.
Sawyer’s other awards include: 6A Gold Ball National Homeschool Champion, Regional Homeschool Champion, and Team Christian Character Award OKC Storm Volleyball (freshman). Regional Homeschool Champion, and Team Christian Character Award OKC Storm Volleyball (Sophomore).
Sawyer’s parents say “while being homeschooled doesn’t come with the opportunity to earn a lot of recognition or awards, we believe Sawyer’s life and character speaks for itself. She is a friend to many and truly desires to honor the Lord with her life. We’re proud of her for many reasons, and look forward to watching her grow on and off the court over the next four years.” Sawyer has maintained a 4.GPA throughout high school and plans to pursue a career in physical therapy while at Mid-America.
